I think some of them think they're 'too cool for school.' It's just astounding ignorance and privilege and racism is all it is UMTerp901!
Their abject naivete (and lack of interaction with all different types of people) makes them easily fall prey to right wing slander against Clinton or to try and pretend being above voting. I laugh in their face. I laugh at their phone baloney keyboard warrior stupidity and hostility. I pity that they haven't had the benefits like we have of social interaction with various people. We're the richer for it.
I'd rather be the nerd who others call uncool and actually likes Clinton. I loved her NY victory speech last night. When she introduced the daughter of the principal at Sandy Hook I got choked up because it is real. You'd have to be a jabroni not to know that is some real feeling there. Just like I liked and supported President Obama when the right wing trolls and all those hipster doofuses or cranky hypercritical armchair liberals were trying to tear him down. I had his back. I'm proud of that and it's made me a happier person.
If it's 'uncool' to read history, listen to other voices, realize it takes hard work and a positive attitude to get anything done, then I'll wear that 'uncool' hat proudly! Fuck all of them mofos.
Oh, and get offline and go for a walk and talk with nice people and enjoy animals and have gratitude for sunshine and rain and food and shelter and all the amazing things outdoors. Living well is the best revenge!
