1. It's definately got a classic 30's 40's look to it.

Even the "camera angles" are in keeping with the period.

All that's missing is the classic Film Noir type lighting. Like when they have the main light source outside of a window so the character is lit with the alternating light and dark stripes from the blinds in the window. Or the window frame is cast onto the floor.

All in all, outstanding character depictions and setting composition.
