2. I like Snyder, but this won't be good.

They are clearly trying to do what Marvel has done and, at least at the comic level, DC is nowhere close to doing that.

There are things DC does well that I wish Marvel did, but overall, when it comes to "universal" concepts, Marvel is far and above. Hell, DC has to go back to the "Secret Origins" thing because so much of their universe is a clusterfuck now. Just look at the return of Hydra and how Marvel handled that through so many different titles and media forms. Just at the basic level, DC hasn't done enough fleshing these characters out like Marvel did leading up to Avengers.
