7. The only thing good about all this..

is Lincecum supposedly left a 5 year 120 million deal on the table this past offseason. Imagine the uproar. We would be looking at the possibility of Zito #2. Or maybe Tim is going to return to his former self.

I just don't know what to think anymore. I've wondered about substance abuse for several years. His weight fluctuations are a concern. Maybe rest will help. I do know if Lincecum was pitching anywhere near his usual self, the Giants would have one of the best records in baseball and a nice comfortable lead in the NL West.

Great. now it's 6-3. Washington might just have the best team in the East.
