I dislike the Raiders, greatly, (Darryl Stingley) but it's bad for the league as a whole for any team to be noncompetitive.

As for the Chiefs, this loss made them about 16% less likely to make the playoffs, which is a pretty big shift for one game - they really put themselves in a bad situation. Alex Smith doesn't seem to be able to throw downfield - where's Matt Cassel? http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/nfl-week-12-playoff-implications-show-the-cardinals-some-respect/
