1. Nice. That "guy" with the extended neck is probably the "look-out".

Apparently geese always have one or two that go on "sentry" duty. It's a small gathering so that might be the Dad looking after his grown-up kids and wife. When I see very large flocks, I have always noticed there are one or two that take on sentry duty, but I can't quite figure out who decides who will do this job.

By the way, I really enjoy your sunset photos over in the photography group.
