My Bubba is dying from PDD. He's a Severe MaCaw.

12. We are care takers of 3 others that we dearly love as we would our own children.

When Bubba was about to die they all crowed ...serious ...they knew. Gipper the blue gold Macaw is being so nice to me more than usual right now ...he kissed the tears from my face. The grey Cookie is already lonely as Bubba was his pal ...we are worried he may also be infected. The eclectus Pocco seems unaffected by the loss but he is kind of a soloist in nature. He doesn't like the others. They are all in separate enclosures. We have to keep a close watch on Cookie now ...we weight him every few days. My understanding is that if they are young they have a good chance of surviving PDD. I hope we don't have to go through this again.

I have not cried this much over anything else that has happened in my life.
