I don't explain Bible quotes to anti-religious people for the same reason I don't explain policy to the tea party: I have better things to do with my precious time.

Over the years I've seen people make many hyperbolic claims about the bad things supposedly done by religion. I've never seen any actual proof of religion's supposed role in the same - just empty rhetoric.
