And I would note, this isn't about silencing religious viewpoints. You, personally, may believe whatever you want. But the religious argument cannot be the primary or even a significant part of the justification for a policy. Legitimizing one religious viewpoint as a justification for policy legitimizes them all. That's the point that few in this group seem to understand or perhaps even want to acknowledge.
