The Indus Seals have many similarities to other seals found in the region, such as those from early Sri Lanka. When the symbols are the same and the meaning is known from one region, a clue has been found. Also, anyone interested in the subject of deciphering a lost script can often bring a new approach that makes the tried and true scholars a bit baffled. Interestingly, early Indian Coin collectors play a part in this decipherment of the Indus Script
