Al Gore said, "We have the technology to restore the planet, what is needed now is the motivation."
If these Hopi Tablets and their fulfilled purpose according to Hopi tradition can unfold into today's global warming crisis to motivate just one person, they have fulfilled their purpose.
That one person can change the world, one person at a time.
It is difficult though. The Hippy movement went to the Hopi and sat with the First Nations people for a time. But they left after the poverty overwhelmed them. Hope will not give rise to a new springtime of human existence without the ability to face our own human poverty. Indigenous world-view calls for a cleansing of the human person through passage rite, relearning how to weave the human identity into the environment. The Ojibwa 7th Fire Prophecy calls Turtle Island a sign of the 'purification' of the earth. Modern psychology and the police state do not accept such a word. We either water it down to everything is good the way it is, business as usual or if someone does something wrong we will 'justify' the situation by putting away this 'evil' from our midst. Indigenous worldview has a different plan, one that works... The current Pope seems to be aware of this view - by visiting prisoners and telling the rich to give away their excessive wealth to the poor....
