I think what she was saying was the joke was NOT funny and it was an example of bad-intentioned humor.

I suppose in order to call it out for the bigotry that it is, you have to tell the joke.

On a lighter note, I'm glad she didn't tell the most dangerous joke in the world. That could have killed half of Britain.
