1. Looks like the "partly Jewish" population adds to the count

I've had many interesting discussions on who is a Jew.

Many offspring of mixed marriages consider themselves part Jewish, even if certain Jewish denominations differ in who they consider to be a Jew. Orthodox, most stringent outlook, is if you're born of a Jewish mother you're Jewish. Patrilineal Jewish blood doesn't count, but reform count it.

If another Hitler took power, he'd go after anyone who was partly Jewish, so in my book if one identifies as Jewish, welcome to the tribe! Level of observance doesn't matter to me, or to most Jews, imo. Nor to those who might want to wipe out those of us with any Jewish blood.
