8. We are in Hawaii and it has been uncharacteristically hot and dry

...for this time of year. We live on the East side of Hawaii, too--known for lots of rain. The last winter was colder than usual as well, so climate change seems to be showing up all over.
Right now our lawn is brown and our rainwater catchment tank is low. We are thinking of putting in a fireplace to help us through the next winter.

Hopefully, your heatwave won't be too bad this year
