an F5. If I have to be near a tornado I want to be underground.

This is what my hometown looked like afterwards. The Gibson Store at the beginning is where I planned to go that afternoon before the skies opened. The bridge at the end of the film was a block from my house.

The Manual Arts Building that appears at about 4:30 was on the grounds of my elementary school. As the camera pans to the left you see a one story brick building; my elementary school. It was never used again.

The Jerry Fifer who appears with the Sweets was a friend of my older brother. Within a year or so they became roommates for a time. Jerry found himself in a car with Sherry Sweet, six stories above the Oliver plant that appears near the end of the film. Neither were hurt.
