2016 Postmortem

(25,586 posts)40. One should not take the internet so seriously.
One should also not pretend Bernie supporters aren't just as obnoxious.
Allowing wounded feelings to influence your vote seems strange to me. I've seen much vileness posted by Bernie supporters, many insults and just flat-out nastiness -- I'll still happily vote Sanders in the exceedingly unlikely event that he becomes the Democatic torchbearer.
Why would I let some person I've never met influence me with petty insults on my computer or phone screen?

I'm sorry if people disrespected you, but there is a lot of that happening on both sides.

The behavior of supporters of the candidates will not influence who I vote for.

No one should be swayed by supporters on an online forum. That seems ridiculous to me.
