I humbly suggest you owe it to your daughter to look more carefully at how each of the candidates' positions and votes actually help or hurt (particularly in Hillary's case) women and girls. It's vital to not to be swayed by words because actions matter so much more. You will likely find, as so many of we long-time feminists have, that Bernie is the greater feminist.

I have also spoken to some men who, wanting to make the women in their lives feel they are "standing with them" are voting for Hillary because of the gender-ploy meme she is broadcasting. As a recent study showed, Obama never campaigned on being the first Black president, but Hillary has mentioned her gender as being core to her candidacy in her speeches nearly 700 times. IMO it is sexist to use her gender to distract from who is the more authentic feminist.
