It's a global symposium where people as varied as economist Jeffrey Sachs and philosopher Russell Hittinger and sociologist Jose Casanova present papers that are then discussed by the participants. It's an exchange of ideas by people about what the social, economic and social changes have taken place in the last 25 years that the Church should be responding to.

Sounds fascinating and a wonderful opportunity for thinkers across many areas to exchange ideas.
