(1,571 posts)But the most important is biosphere preservation. I recently attended a health care issues round table. Very insightful, leaders in the industry and policy describing the way forward. At the end they fielded the question, "What issue will effect health care the most?" Again, very cogent answers, as long as you ignore anything outside of the health care field and its stakeholders. All of these great minds, a room full of academics, and no one brought up climate change. I thought it, and I am sure others in the audience did as well, but politically it would have been a major faux pas to mention that the queen and her court were wearing non-existing garments.
As I walked out, it occurred to me that HRC's and the DNC are similarly attired.
