And I do not like strongly disagreeing with a Lady who seems so nice, but what are you thinking? LBJ, Jimmy Carter, and even Bill Clinton are not real Democrats? The fact that you failed to see the irony that your preferred candidate has only been a democrat for a one year is amazing. And suggesting that the last Democratic president served before you were even born just seems silly. One could just as easily suggest that the last Republican president was Teddy Roosevelt.

Clinton was a man of his time, had he run a Bernie like or even Hillary like campaign in 1992, he would have lost in a McGovern style defeat. Of course, as we now know, that might've been the preference of many of the posters here. It seems lots of people on DU hope for a democratic defeat if their candidate is not the nominee.

I will stop now. This is not my normal type of post. But it struck me the wrong way at the wrong time. The largest irony of my post is that I really like Bernie Sanders. But I understand how politics work. The enemy of great is perfect.
