9. NO ONE, except the voter gets to decide on what basis their vote is made

...and I firmly believe we are going to see a huge backlash against the misogyny that's inherent in our political system, a great deal of which is being directed at Hillary Clinton.

Some may well see that as undue or unfair, but no amount of bullying, badgering, or shaming (as so many folks here seem to believe is an effective strategy) is going to change that.

One of the things that black DUers, for example, tried to impart to the Sanders campaign and supporters was the sensitivity of the race issue and the often anti-intellectual/anti-substantive judgements that would be made in response to positions and statements. That's held true to the extent that one campaign has alienated a sizable number of minority voters, and the other has reaped the benefits of that exodus.

Ignoring the fact that many people make judgements on surface qualities of candidates doesn't make that any less of a reality. You can lecture folks from here until the election on what criteria they should be using to choose a candidate, but people will vote based on their own life experience and their own agenda.

Citing conservative women in comparison to Clinton may seem accurate to you, but I think it's absurd to compare Clinton to Thatcher. Virtually NONE of the people supporting her believe she's a conservative. That should factor into your judgement of their support for her.
