(11,638 posts)1) the OP writer and those that recommended it have not been in any way, shape or form apologetic about that OP. In fact, if nothing else, they have vigorously defended it, made excuses for it and supported it. Not one person, including the OP author, I have challenged about has apologized for it but has vigorously defended it, just as you are doing now. That OP is still viewable since it went up 6 months ago. If the OP author were truly apologetic than they would self-delete but have chosen not to do that.
2) That OP you quoted is disgusting and bizarre. What is more important and very disturbing though is that you see that post and an OP using a Neo-Nazi, Holocaust-denying hate site to smear a Democratic candidate of Jewish heritage as equivalent. The OP you quoted is rude, nasty and childish. What it doesn't do is attack a Democratic candidate of Jewish heritage and deny that his family and 6 million other human beings were murdered in concentration camps. There is zero redeeming value in the opinion and conspiracy theories of a Nazi website.
3) I find it very telling that the actual person I was posting to fails to offer up an opinion or apology for it. It is also possible to remove a recommendation to an OP, even months later. The person I was actually posting to has also not done so and therefore one can only assume continues to agree with using Neo-Nazi sources to attack people.
