(37,254 posts)...about you, not us.
If you keep your vote a big secret, I personally couldn't care less. I'm not as interested in you as you'd like to believe.
If you have some big bad contempt for what you call "the corporate media" - which by the way made that tiresome fool Sanders - I couldn't care less.
Actually information is freer and more available than at any time in human history (if you look), so I'm less than interested in your "corporate" boogey men and boogey women, if there are, in fact, such boogey women (other than the Democratic nominee of course).
Either you are an ethical human being or you are not. Whether you are not is of little interest to many of us, but to the extent you run around calling the Democratic nominee a "corporate whore" or "war monger" or "an indictable criminal" or whatever other very, very, very, very, stupid labels are flung around here by the Sanders bots, will, in my mind define your ethics, not that I really give a rat's ass who any of the Sandersnistas actually are.
There are lots of people who will vote for Trump, some of whom will do so passively, and others actively, like say, sometime Bernie supporter Susan Sarandon.
Whether she publicly announces she's an asshole, and others privately act like assholes matters not much. What matters is that Trump loses.
I'm an old man, but I have to say this is the most insane election of my life time, and the insanity is not limited to the people who put Mr. Red Hair comb over at the top of the ticket, racist rants and all.
The whole situation reminds me of Abraham Lincoln's Letter to James Conklin, (1863) and I quote:
The conditions and terms of the American Civil War were far more exigent than the conditions we face now; although a Trump Presidency could in fact, bring even worse conditions than those of 1863. Still the focus of the rhetoric are the same. Some people work to save the country, others sit on their asses and whine about their parochial concerns and others actually make things worse.
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
