(154,021 posts)for the record that started in 2000. So I expect my vote to count however the central tabulator decides I voted.
It is a sad state of affairs, but many of us who have come from jokes of a democracy with sham elections, do not consider the US system of elections clear, or straightforward, or something I can trust, regardless of who's running. Why the presidential level turnout in San Diego gives me some hope that the torta effect will be overcome for Prop I.
But that is besides the point, IN political theory there are people who are known as trend setters, It is the same principle as in marketing, If you can get trend setters to go, ok I will swallow my pride and vote for whoever, then their friends and neighbors will listen. I am media, I am pretty much beyond quite a bit of influence, I cover these people at policy. So an add will hardly get me going but, but.
But regular voters who voted for in this case Sanders, many of them are early adopters, you need them to get more people to follow to the polls. This is so basic that it astounds me, no really it does that people who pretend to understand politics don't get this. Trust me on this one, the Trump campaign is working hard on getting the early leaders, He is so despicable that he will succeed, with about best case 20 percent of primary Sanders voters, (About the same percentage of conservadems by the way, for other reasons)
You need the rest.
As to me... I am so disgusted that who I vote for, is truly my business. In 2008 I walked into the precinct with a high fever, I do not guarantee the same scenario this year. And when and if I do, I will vote and never tell anybody but the conure, who I voted for. Anyway, as working media I should not tell you And we are not endorsing anybody, not even for dog catcher. That is how much I adore Bernie Sanders. Sorry but that makes me laugh.
