17. Presidents do not set national minimum wages.

Contact your Congressional elected officials about that. Both Democratic presidential candidates support a nationwide increase in the minimum wage. The exact amount isn't really their call. Congress will decide that, so be sure to campaign for your Democratic candidates in the House and Senate, too. Hillary will sign the minimum wage increasing bills sent to her.
