2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Bernie Sanders CAMPAIGN Statement [View all]Lord Magus
(1,999 posts)73. I don't remember anything of the sort.
The response to Bernie winning huge in Vermont is that Vermont does not decide the nomination. There are 49 other states and 6 territories. And supers are not bound to the voting results of their home state. That doesn't mean they'll ignore the voting results of the nation.
But hey, if think superdelegates should be bound to the candidate who carries their state, fair enough. It wouldn't change the outcome.

You won't hear a Clinton mouth admit that. They'll milk it for all its worth. Ruthlessness.

Didn't seem to bother him in 2008 when he endorsed Obama well before the convention.

Bernie specifically said in 08 that his policy was to not endorse until there was a nominee.

And then Sanders continues to be an ass, trying to flip the results of voters. As bad as AP.

What's this "only" a 286 delegate lead? That's massive, basically insurmountable lead.
