It is anyone's place to tell him when they think he's harming the party. Do you really think everyone should simply shut up and let Sanders do whatever the hell he wants? That sounds like Reince Priebus' "strategy" with Trump.
No, Sanders doesn't have to listen to anyone. That's par for the course for him, and explains why his own co-workers don't endorse him. Decent man, great ideas, but not a clue as to how to be a leader. A good leader is a good listener.
