There are no more votes to be had, so he's obviously not going to accomplish anything substance-wise with this little stunt.
Looks to me that he just wants to hear himself talk, and also give the finger to the party that he feels betrayed him by not voting for him. And a lot of his supporters hate Hillary so they like anything that makes her campaign more difficult, even if that means helping Trump.
