Any man who withstood over 5 years of torture in a Vietnamese prison camp with out breaking, who stood up to the Bush administration on the subject of water boarding, and who issued the scathing statement to Donald Trump which might cost him his reelection bid in a tight battle to return to the Senate has my deepest respect.

I don't have to want to vote for someone to respect them.
