"third party" candidates, and that is that they never try to build up from the grassroots.

If, in some totally bizarro world, Stein or Johnson were to be elected to the Presidency, they would have zero members of their respective parties in Congress. How exactly would they expect to accomplish anything?

If the Greens or the Libertarians were to elect people to city council, to state government, I'd have a lot more respect for them, even though I would still not agree with their aims. But nope. They go straight to the top, with zero understanding of how our system works. Which is really unbelievable with Johnson, given that he was a Governor of a state, and so should actually understand all this. Has he simply gotten very stupid in recent years?
