And I wanna say this to all of DU. This a strong feeling of mine.
Supporters are different than fans.
I support political candidates. I support some much more than others.
I am a fan of Bob Dylan.
My first reality as a person who participates in politicks is to remember: I am not a fan when it comes to trying to get a person elected.
Supporting why they represent does not make me a fan. It makes me a supporter of a person that supports what I believe in.
I guess I have a bugs boo about the use of the word Fan when it comes to politics.
