He is unelectable ... just because ! He's old, his hair is weird, he is a sociologist - or whatever it is that makes him a pinko commie, the only people who support him are Volvo-driving white elites who are somehow concentrated entirely in Iowa and NH. He is, has been, and will be completely ineffective , the GOP won't compromise with him (yet they would compromise with other Dems?) , he commutes to work on a rainbow-farting unicorn, he dated a stripper and has boxes in his garage (that was him, right?) , 40 years of walking the walk on civil rights means black people hate him, sticking to his principles even when not politically expedient means he isn't pragmatic and doesn't understand reality, regularly answering every question about the issues matters less to voters than closed door mega-donor dinners and selfies with Kim & Kanye, watered-down campaign promise versions of his policies are just as good, drawing enormous crowds is irrelevant, shunning corporate donors makes him ... something bad ... unelectable again I guess.
