I keep reading that "more people prefer HRC and that's just how it is." Maybe we can put it to the test here and have supporters check in on this thread so we can do a head count. It's not a national cross section, I'm aware. But it will give us an idea of how many supporters of each candidate there are on this site and will hopefully shed some light on all the intense bickering going on. So, if everyone would please respond with a simple Hillary or Bernie and nothing else that would be great. Also, just respond once so we can get a decent headcount.
thanks,
Brian
And if you can, try to just post Hillary or Bernie and stay away from commentary to keep this civil. Thanks
On Edit: The reason I didn't mention O'Malley in this was because he doesn't appear to be the target of any of the vitriol that goes back and forth on this site. You're more than welcome to put his name there if you are an O'Malley supporter. I truly wasn't trying to exclude you.
Thanks to all the Hillary supporters that checked in too. I appreciate it.
To all the Bernie supporters here on DU; When you feel like you're being ganged up on in some threads, just go back to this thread and realize how many Bernie supporters there are on this site and take comfort. Also, stay away from using words like "Hill-bots" and so on. It does nothing to elevate the conversation. Just stay strong and do everything you can to get your candidate elected.
To all the Hillary supporters here on DU; Keep up the good fight. I know you believe strongly in your candidate and that you're outnumbered here on this site so sometimes it must feel like you have to be as vocal as possible. That's cool. Just be aware that some of the gloating can be offensive and annoying to all of these Bernie supporters. There's no need to condescend to anyone here. Just keep doing what you can to get your candidate elected.
