2016 Postmortem
Showing Original Post only (View all)If you removed the people voting for Hillary just because she's female [View all]
I wonder what her numbers would look like? I don't really like one issue voters and kind of put people who plan to vote for Hillary just because she is a woman into that category. I would not include informed people who like her for other reasons in that group. I wish there was a way to see how many of her supporters would be voting for her for that one reason. Has anyone seen any kind of break down on that? It would be like me voting just for Bernie because he's old and I'm old, I guess.

Several on DU have already done so. And also because of insensitivity on diversity issues

Still zero. I think you're having a problem distinguishing reality from imagination.

You'd still have all of her voters in her camp, because no one is voting for Hillary just because

I've wonder about that also but not from a "DUer" point of view. I think the people here vote for..

And since women are the actual gender-majority, "female issues" are a majority issue.

Not sure how that relates to the PPP polling data saying there is a 22 point gender gap.

Thanks. Only one addendum: She kept her own name and career while Bill was governor.

The bulk of Hillary's support comes from low-information voters and name recognition.

The term "low information voter" is continually used by Limbaugh against Democrats.

That's not fair! A lot of Hillary's supporters are for her because they oppose taxing the wealthy,
