(11,945 posts)I said we do not know whether or not she was referring to Bill Clinton or Donald Trump.
But it doesn't really matter, because we are allowed our personal reactions to politicians, and, believe it or not, Bill Clinton is indeed a politician.
Furthermore, there are known aspects of B.C.'s past that can accurately be termed "skeevy." He's a rather lusty male, plain and simple, and several of his conquests have tattled on him. Lots of men are like that, for whatever reason. Societies throughout history have tried to deal with the male penchant for aggressive sexuality and aggression itself. Maybe we should review the various approaches throughout history and model ourselves after the more successful ones.
And now we're getting into an area where I could write an essay, had I world enough and time, so I'll just say this: I personally dislike the way human beings judge one another on victimless sexual behaviors; I think it's a) personal and b) trivial. I prefer the French approach to these matters. However, given the social norms within which we live, there is nothing wrong with what she said.
But I would LOVE to know what you think her "reason" is for using "that word." I honestly cannot imagine what it might be, so please enlighten us.
Thanks!
