they become bolder and bolder. Many of the abusive men I've known would have stopped if they had been held accountable in the beginning. They are often like children who are not disciplined for their actions, so they keep pushing their boundaries. That is when society is expected to set limits and provide consequences to those who cannot or will not abide by society's rules.
