64. I have nothing bad or 'derisive' to say about this group.

It's a fine group with fine people. It does the group a disservice to propagate the notion that the balance of DU is hostile to women as this will inexorably lead to friction from confirmation bias. I offer introspection and a chance to head off that friction. I get that it will not be universally appreciated, and I am used to hostile reactions to rational observations, but if even one person sees how what I spoke of causes ever greater divisiveness, then it is worth it.

As for my post: I often do not realize what group I'm posting "in" because I simply respond to what I find on TGP. When someone posts a swan-song and there is discussion about it, including people taking exception to broad-brush accusations of DU, I post my observations.

If you want, I'll repost in meta with some changes. Yes, I get we don't want a 'fight' here, but it was my intention to explain why those fights occur. So yes, that would be more appropriate in 'meta', I guess.

If you choose to believe that my observations are somehow hostile (people often confuse objective with hostile), then by all means, ban me from the group.

Because we certainly need more walls on DU.
