(36,393 posts)I'm not sure how, if you have read Meta and GD, you think misogyny or attacks on feminists is 'isolated'. Maybe in the same way that when antisemitism happens, it's merely 'isolated'? Tell me what level you think something needs to rise to before it's an issue, and we can go from there...
There's nothing of a moral superiority nature in pointing out that there is bigotry against groups of people. Do you think DU's LGBT community, or Jews and Muslims are being morally superior in pointing out the bigotry aimed against them? If you don't, then why is it a whole different matter when it comes to women?
Having had some experience when it comes to antisemitism and Islamophobia, I' m kind of suspecting that no matter what you get shown when you ask to be shown instances of bigotry against women and feminists at DU, it will be written off by you as being merely 'isolated' and women trying to assert their 'moral superiority'...

Having spent a fair few years at DU in the I/P forum, you'd get on well with past DUers who've expressed the same sentiments and then gone on to express views that people find uncomfortable because, well, there's a fair level of intolerance towards one group of people or another involved...
