In a response to one of my first posts on DU a reply seemed to agree with my post,
but ended his/her reply by calling me "DUM".

Having posted a number of sites over a number of years, I just shrugged it off.
There will always be those people who are online only to try and pull others down,
in an attempt to make themselves feel superior.

By replying to their insults or complaining, you are only giving them the attention they crave.
If you ignore them, they'll find another target and leave you alone.
