are that we've all heard/read people say that there isn't any difference in the candidates. "All politicians are corrupt."

I'm inclined to think that if a person sees all politicians as being corrupt and evil then they will naturally turn to a candidate who has no qualms about lying and who is more skilled in the game of artful smears.

For them it is to win at all costs.
