(21,124 posts)Bernie beating Trump by double digits, that would be a really stupid thing to do. I certainly don't agree with Biden on a lot of things, but finishing his career with a loss in the GE and being blamed for tearing the Democratic party apart can't be all that attractive to him.
I have a friend who is Republican as they come. He liked Cruz. He HATES Trump and HRC. He said he would feel fine voting for Bernie in the GE and that he will stay home if the choice is between Trump and Hillary.
Keep in and the delegate count for the GOP is misleading because of the winner-take-all states. Most of Trump's wins are with less than 50% of the votes, many with less than 40%. Even with the endorsements of the LOSERS like Carson and Christie, there will be some who absolutely will not vote for him.
