on board with supporting him in the primaries here in Virginia.

I have worked very hard over the past two decades to transform my parents from conservative Republicans (Southern Baptists from Alabama no less) to Bernie Sanders supporting Democrats. My parents are good people, and I was not going to let them continue to support Republicans. They always voted, but didn't like to pay attention to politics. I made them start paying attention to who they were supporting and who they were not supporting. And, it worked.
