I think the best strategy for winning the primary is to persuade unaffiliated votes to register as Democrats and participate in the primary.
I have always been a registered Democrat in order to support progressive candidates in the primaries, because I am dissatisfied with the direction of the party. But I know many voters who are not registered with party affiliation because they are disillusioned with Democrats and Republicans and are not deeply engaged with another party. I am targeting this group with the bulk of my messaging and outreach.
Our best chance in both the primaries and general election is to attract the anti-establishment vote.
I always make sure to refer to HRC as "the establishment candidate."
