Both are from the progressive - 'democratic' wing of the party and both bring in demographic and geographic balance and both have fire in their bellies.
Thank you for bringing their names up - too much talent in the Progressive Caucus has been and is being overlooked.
O'Malley was Governor of Maryland and he has had a mixed record - there.....Not as bad as Congressman Van Hollen - but after Obama's performance as a candidate and as a President, I just would like to see O'Malley perform more on the national stage. He supported Clinton over Obama in '08 and one doesn't become Governor of a Beltway state w/o being part of the establishment.
