Bernie Sanders
Showing Original Post only (View all)PPP Poll - Sanders 24% [View all]
Well here is a some good news. The last poll circulated on DU, Bernie was at 13% (please correct me if I'm wrong)
But in this recent poll from Public Policy Polling
Clinton 57%
Sanders 24%
O'Malley 4%
Webb 2%
Chafee 1%
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2015/05/clinton-up-big-in-washington.html
On the Democratic side Hillary Clinton continues to be dominant at 57% to 24% for Bernie Sanders, 4% for Martin O'Malley, 2% for Jim Webb, and 1% for Lincoln Chafee. This is another data point showing that Sanders has far separated himself from the rest of the Democratic field in the race for 2nd place- he has 58% name recognition with the O'Malley/Webb/Chafee trio only coming in the 26-31% range.
So, even though the article is titled, "Clinton up big in Washington" we can see that Bernie is gaining votes from non-Clinton candidates and Clinton herself. That lead is not inevitable and could continue to erode as it did in 2008. Get the word out and watch that number continue to grow.

Maybe, but the longer Clinton keeps running from the press, the better for Sanders

That opinion is expressed here, but I think it's far from a majority view.

The HRC campaign's dog-whistle appeal to white racists in 2008 still rankles

What the Clinton campaign did in 2008 should preclude her ever being elected again.

It's true, and I think a lot of the people who voted for Obama did so because he appeared more

Bernie's poll numbers have been rising steadily since Jan. He was just at 3% back then
