There is an assumption that all AA votes will automatically go for Hillary. Why? I don't know. I don't know what she has promised to do for civil rights specifically. I know she is making promises on immigration and has talked about incarceration, but I don't know what proposals will make anyone's lives better. I don't see that civil rights improved under Obama either. In fact, he has been the opposite of good by calling African Americans thugs and saying we need to respect the cops. So, I'm not sure what another corporatist will do. I'm surprised anyone is thinking she will actually follow through on her populism. It's all campaign rhetoric.

But yes, when you try to state facts or information to certain posters, they feel cornered and will lash out. I've seen what has been said to you in threads and that's very wrong. The poster who tried to paint you as a bigot is doing her damnedest to take over every discussion. Unfortunately, it won't get better and I already know I'm not going to stick around DU if Sanders drops out of the race early. The crowing will be too loud. What they will have won though is anyone's guess.
