I had the chance to meet Bernie last month at an event in DC when he led an anti-TPP rally in front of the US Trade Representatives Offices there. It was a Populism 2015 conference that I found out about late, but finished all my work, registered, posted about it on DU and was excited.

But the night before my boyfriend threw his back out badly from work and was immobilized for a week so I couldn't go. Not his fault but I missed a good conference and Bernie, oh well.
