43. While at work I frequently have conversations with patients..

Patients waiting for their imaging studies. Frequently those discussions turn to health care and insurance, then the high cost of insurance, then the ACA, and finally the presidential candidates. The patients who seem the most concerned about health care costs are overwhelmingly for Bernie. Age doesn't seem to matter. This morning I had a couple in--the husband was having an MRI--and as they were waiting, the conversation turned to the ACA and Colorado's single-payer voter issue we successfully got on the ballot. As they were leaving the clinic, the wife leaned over to me and whispered, "I'm a Boomer for Bernie." I gave her a big smile and a thumbs up. Also worth mentioning, more and more I'm seeing "Bernie" bumper stickers in our clinic parking lot. I honestly haven't seen one Repub. sticker.
