I think some of them DO realize the power he has within' the Internet which is why they're blacking him out. They're hoping the remaining power they have will be enough to convince enough people to back Hillary in the primaries and get her to win. After that she becomes President and figures out a way to shut out Net Neutrality or overlooks the violations being perpetrated on it by Comcast, Verizon and others(they're hoping for this, at least). They want their gatekeeper status and will see the Internet marginalized or co-opted to prattle on about nonsense.
Meanwhile DN and accomplished journalists like Naomi Klein, Jeremy Scahill and others will be frozen out. They might allow Matt Taibbi to still publish in the mainstream to present the illusion that the concerns of the common man haven't been completely shut down. Hillary fans as well need to remember that this election isn't just about Bernie, it's about having media that represents your concerns and your voice. A lot of places outside of the big cities have had their voices silenced unless they have a community radio station that represents the diverse voice of your city. Sure Obama approved a lot of low power FM stations but that's not enough of a gesture and their power level should be bumped up.
