(3,162 posts)...Bernie and trump both identified the major GOP/Dem created problem of our time: 40 years of trading good-paying Union manufacturing jobs for cheap plastic buckets from China...deindustrialization and the decimation of our middle-class...
...we knew if trump got elected he would attack the problem by keeping the 1% who created the problem firmly in charge...we also knew if Bernie got elected he would have attacked the problem by kicking the shit out of the 1%...Obama had a chance to kick the 1%'s ass in 2008, to be another FDR, but he chose not to...Bernie would have been another FDR...
...if Bernie was allowed to get the nomination in 2016 and won the election we would be in an altogether different place today...so now, it appears we may be on our way to nominating another kumbaya candidate,
" Sanders backers already mistrust polls that show Mr. Biden with a commanding lead and the news organizations that have put a spotlight on the former VP since he joined the race April 25. "
...the middle-class doesn't need 40 more years in the economic wilderness by those who created the problem in the first place...another free-trading kumbaya candidate won't cut it...people will stick with trump...they'll have no choice...
...we don't seem to learn from our mistakes...
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
